Jeanne Solnordal is an energetic 61 year old who has resided throughout the East Bay for the past 42 years.  As a long time member of the community she is familiar with the struggles surrounding the economic issues in her District. The increase in homelessness, the quality of the schools and the never ending burden of increasing taxes on the average taxpayer budget are among her top concerns and comprise her campaign platform.

Jeanne Solnordal attended the local Peralta Community College District and went on to receive a scholarship to Golden Gate University.  There she worked on her Tax Accounting degree. Jeanne worked for the IRS for 18 years until she graduated JFK Law School at which time she  opened up her own Property Management firm (1994) after earning her Juris Doctorate Degree. Today she is still a licensed Broker and owns and operates the same Property Management company.  She and her husband are proud to have received an award from Oakland Housing Authority in 2018 for having provided Affordable Housing to Oakland residents for 5 consecutive years. She has also rehoused more than 80 homeless Veterans since opening her business in 1994.

Jeanne seeks to improve the quality of life for all citizens of this State by reducing taxes, improving schools and improving services to the homeless.

She wants to hear the needs of the public and act to bring about positive change for all.
